Salt Spa Terms & Policies

Appointment 101:

Your appointments at Salt Spa are very important to us. Our policies are designed to provide the best quality of service for our established and future clients. Please make sure to read up on all of our waivers for each service to guarantee that each service is right for you. In the event we do not receive the required notice, your appointment is subject to a cancellation fee in the full amount of the service. To book an appointment with Salt Spa, we require a valid credit card on file.

Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early for all appointments and take into account travel time, especially during the holiday seasons. We will send you spa waivers and consent forms to complete your booking, which must be filled out upon receiving them. If you are running late, your appointment will end at the originally scheduled time, unless we have availability to extend the time of the service. 

Parking:

Salt Spa has six free parking spots available for our guests only for appointment times. All vehicles must be removed from the parking lot upon completion of your service. We cannot guarantee parking, especially for large groups, so we ask that you please carpool, if possible. There are several paid and free parking spaces all within walking distance of Salt Spa. Extra parking is available off-site in case our parking lot is full; all we require is a valid driver’s license in exchange for holding for the duration of your appointments only.

Cancellations:

Your appointments are very important to us, and your appointment is reserved especially for you. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 2-3 full business days’ notice for weekday cancellations or changes. Holidays and group bookings require 4 business days’ notice. 

Please understand that when you cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. You will receive daily reminders via email and text message starting 2 days before your appointment. Groups of 5 or more people require a week’s cancellation notice. Less than a 24-hour notice and no shows will result in a charge of 100% of the reserved service amount. Appointments made within the 24 hours that need to be canceled must be canceled within an hour from booking time, or it will result in a charge equal to 100% of the reserved service amount. Multiple services or combos not canceled 24 hours in advance will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount to the credit card on file or will be forfeited from gift certificates, prepaid sessions, or money credited to one’s account.

Prepaid Packages:

We do not refund or allow transfer of our spa packages to another person/party, or change to other services after purchase. These prepaid sessions are for individual guests only.

Confirmation Texts:

As a courtesy, we will text and email a confirmation of your appointment times. Please read the message to make sure all information is the same as when the booking was made. However, if we are unable to reach you, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and the cancellation fee.

Video Surveillance:

Salt Spas public areas and the Salt Cave are under video surveillance for liability purposes only. During Salt Room massages, the camera is properly covered for privacy.

Children at Salt Spa:

Children may not remain in the spa unless accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times. We do not allow children to sit in the room during services, as this disrupts our providers during the service. Salt Spa St Augustine is not responsible for the supervision or care of minors. All children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Privacy Policy:

Salt Spa is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our users. We want to assure you that we do not share your personal information with third parties. This privacy policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect the information you provide to us.

  • Information Collection:

    • We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve our services. This may include name, email address, messaging consent, etc. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with any third parties.

  • How We Use Your Information:

    • The information collected is used solely for communicating with the intended party. We do not share your information with external parties for marketing or any other purposes.

  • Your Choices:

    • You have the right to access, correct, or delete your information. If you have any concerns or questions about your data, please contact us.

  • Policy Changes:

    • We may update our privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be communicated to you, and your continued use of our services implies your acceptance of the updated policy. By using our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this privacy policy.
