Sound Therapy is an effective and proven modality which uses vibrational sound energy to help reduce stress. Stress and inflammation is the leading cause of disease in our body. The healing sounds create a deep sense of peace, well being; which can improve health.
Sound healing is a type of energy medicine which creates a sacred space in which people can heal from stress disorders, pain, depression and the root causes of their dis-ease.
During our waking state of consciousness when attention is directed towards cognitive tasks and the outside world, the normal frequency of our brain waves is that of Beta. The Tibetan singing bowls entrain the brain to move into the deeper Alpha and Theta brain wave frequencies. These frequencies induce deep meditative and peaceful states, clarity of mind and intuition. Modern medicine can measure and confirm the practice of sound as a means to promote healing.
